What is WRONG With People?!

October 5th, 2008 Kai Starr

Oh man. More troubles, for me! Some woman hit my car in the grocery store parking lot, got out and looked at it, looked me in the eye as I sat in the driver’s seat, and then she WALKED AWAY. What the hell is WRONG with people, these days?! I had to get out and yell “Hey!” at the two women until they finally came back. Then they pretended they couldn’t speak English, which was bullshit, as they both spoke perfect English, when the police officer arrived. I had to call the police, just to get her insurance info, because she refused to give it to me. That ought to be against the law. Someone who refuses to give their insurance info to the other driver, when they’ve been in an accident, ought to at LEAST be given a ticket. What’s the point of having insurance, if you’re allowed to withhold it, after you’ve caused an accident? GRR!

Seriously, what’s wrong with people?! You hit someone’s car and cause damage to it; you look at it; you look at the owner of the other car, and you walk away, as if it’s nothing?! Good God, had I hit THEIR car, they’d have both been in my face. They were both on cell phones, telling whoever they were speaking with that this “bastard” and “son of a bitch” was giving them trouble over this “tiny scratch” they caused, as if they had the right to do it and I had no right to complain. Oh, and they were saying this in Spanish, thinking I wouldn’t know. So I loudly told my roomie (who was with me), that they could call me a bastard and a son of a bitch in Spanish all they wanted, but it didn’t change the fact that THEY hit MY car and THEY were responsible for the damage.

Grr. This week is not starting off, well. I hope it isn’t a portend of what’s to come. (-.-)
