Ruminant Ruminations
June 4th, 2008 Kai StarrWell, suddenly, we have a chance of thunderstorms down here! Maybe this will help with our popping and settling foundation. I hope so!
Heh…I almost forgot to get this update ready, because I was preoccupied with looking at websites about goats. Some of you may remember me talking about wanting to be a goat rancher and raise Angoras. I’m still going back and forth on that, and to help myself along in making up my mind, I’ve been reading as much as possible on the subject of raising this type of goat. Goats are, generally, easy to take care of, but they can cost a lot in feed and vet care. I’d probably start out with only 2 or 4 goats, to see how I liked working them and whether or not it would be something I’d want to do on a long-term basis. I was a goat farmer in a past life, but that was a looooooong time ago. I still like goats a lot, but don’t know for sure that I want to raise them, again. I know that I want horses. I must have horses, but any other animals are still up for debate.
Today, in Rustler’s Roundup, Jenny finds out just how wobbly George Thicke’s spine really is, when he gets caught trying to sneak her into his room at Mrs. Hamilton’s boarding house!

Poor George. Jenny is so awful!
I know you’d do a great job of taking care of horses and goats and whatever else you wanted to raise, Kai chan. You’re just good at everything you do! *smoochies*
