I spent most of my weekend drooling over horse photos online, picking out possibles for my mini herd. So far, I’ve found nine that I really like, but I think nine is too many. I doubt I could give them all the personal attention they need, and for me, that’s the whole purpose of having horses: lavishing love and attention upon them. I’m not sure how much room I’ll have on my ranch, anyway, as I’m not sure which one I might end up with. With any luck, it will be at least 60 acres, which would be more than enough for, say, four horses and maybe some goats.

Yes, goats. I like goats. I was a goatherder, in a former life, if you must know why I like goats. I get all excited, whenever I see goats out in the country!
