I Need A Vacation!
May 1st, 2008 Kai StarrWhoo, boy, am I in need of a serious vacation. My head is just all over the place, lately, and all I want to do is sleep. Since I mostly work for myself, I don’t truly get days off or vacation time, and it gets to be pretty difficult, sometimes. Still, I wouldn’t want to go back to working for someone else, full time. I can handle it in small spurts, but now I’ve become spoiled on independence. I never was meant to be somebody else’s employee. 
As for today’s updates, in The Faraian Conspiracy, Jason and Mara complete the first part of their mission, and neither of them is prepared to deal with the psychological effects of it. And in Rustler’s Roundup, Jenny sets up a little vengeance upon Joshua, and then heads for the cabin in Dechman.

Woah!, slow down there, if you are looking for a vacation, go for it… you sound totally stressed out…

Heh… I would LOVE to, but I haven’t got the money to spare for it, right now. I have way too much to do, and nobody but me who can do it. That’s one of the disadvantages of being self-employed! But the other things, the independence, the freedom to set my own hours and my own pace, the pride in accomplishment, those make it all worthwhile. I’ll eventually get my vacation break. Just won’t be this month!
