Wild Blue Ponder-ings
April 20th, 2008 Kai StarrOh boy. Not only am I sick, right now, but I am depressed, and on top of being depressed, I’ve started pining for my long-gone flying days. Once I get started thinking about the planes, my mood stays up in pleasant nostalgia for a while, and then dives into yearning and crashes in explosive flames. I miss flying, sooooooo very much!! Although, I don’t miss having to use that blamed radio. I always hated that, and if I could get away with not talking, I didn’t talk. Drove everybody nuts, too, because they all thought I “sounded so professional” on the air. Nobody could understand why I hated talking on the radio so much, and to be honest, I’m not really sure why, myself. I just hated it, and would still hate it, were I still flying. I don’t suppose I really need a reason, any more than someone who hates broccoli needs to explain why they hate broccoli. Some things you just don’t like, and it ain’t nobody’s business why you don’t like ‘em.
(For the record, I love broccoli.)
