Yesterday, we had cattle rustlin’. Today, we have a very funny and very drunk Joshua Love. He’s loads of fun to write for, when he’s been hitting the bottle.

Well, folks, I’m moving this site to a new host. It may be offline for a few days, while the domain transfer is taking place, but don’t worry. It will be back, before you know it! And I’ll post extra chapters of the novels to help make up for the missing time.
I’m sorry for any inconvenience you may have experienced, that was due to my current host’s database server problems. I’ve been round and round with them over it, and found the only good solution is to just move off their service and onto a (hopefully) better one.

Well, phooey. I’m still having intermittent problems with my webhost’s database servers. This stuff is getting sooooooo old! I apologize if you’ve had any trouble accessing the stories or blog. I just need a new webhost, and I can’t afford a good one. Best thing for me would be a dedicated server, but who has the funds for THAT?! (O.o) Until I can, I guess I’ll just have to keep apologizing for the spotty access. *sigh*
No animal picture, today, but a handful of story, wherein Chewy Bill gets a weeee bit more disturbed by Joshua’s past and knowledge!

*sigh* Database problems, lately. I’m sorry about that, folks. It’s beyond my control. Fortunately, they don’t seem to last long, when they occur, but please forgive me if you’ve tried to get into the site and couldn’t.
Anyway, I figured I’d post another animal picture, today, along with the Desperado update. These are three horses that my dad had on his old ranch. From left to right, they are: Cocoa, Blackie and Lacy. Lacy is the crazy Appaloosa mare who decided I belonged to her, and subsequently chased off all the other horses, cows, dogs and what have you, so that she could monopolize my attention. She’s a great horse!
Yep, I need to get myself a place where I can have some horses of my own! Here’s another pic of Lacy, just because:
Ain’t she sweet? That’s her “What are you doing over there with that camera, when you could be over here petting ME?!” look. (^-^)
As for updates, last time, we got little Joshua’s introduction to full-strength bourbon. Today, we get the results of it. Poor Josh! I know exactly how he feels. Been there; done that; got a t-shirt and burnt the sumbitch!

More nice weather down here, today! My roomie and I went out and celebrated his birthday, on Sunday, got some delicious Mexican food and some beer. All in all, a nice time was had, by all. (^-^)
And just because I’m feeling goofy, here’s a pic of some of the buffalo on my dad’s ranch. He has longhorn cattle, buffalo and horses, as well as some guinea hens, which are strange little creatures. These guys are wild, and no, there was not a fence between us, when I took the pic. Kind of kept me a little nervous, as I’m not real fond of horned animals being within goring range of my belly, but they are cool animals.
Maybe I’ll post some horse pics or something, tomorrow.

Wow, what a forecast we have today, in Mesquite, Texas! Sunny skies, 66 degrees F. We’ve seen some 70s, this past week, even! Makes me really feel bad for all you folks who live in the freeze areas! Here’s hoping a little relief will come your way, soon!

I’ve added a link to my original theme music for the Desperado series, today. I may eventually do a whole soundtrack for it, but this is the title track and general chase music. I’ve put a permanent link to it in the Desperado series listing page, and I’ll link it here, too. I may embed it somewhere, once I remember how to do that. I’m just a liiiiiiiiittle bit sick of foolin’ with code, right now.

No more site fiddling, today! Woohoo! I’m happy to report that everything seems to be working, other than the occasional server slowness, which is beyond my control, anyway. As always, please comment in the blog or email me if you find a glitch, particularly like or dislike something, or just feel like saying “hi.”
I just realized, too, that in the art I did for Rustler’s Roundup, I forgot to add in Joshua’s sprinkle of freckles across his nose. I guess it’s not a big deal, though. They probably wouldn’t show up too well in that size, anyway.

Yeah, I’m changing the name of the site. “Death Angel” fit the other theme, with the Azrael drawing I had in the logo, but it doesn’t fit the Western theme. So…it’s now “Outlaw Starr,” for kind of a play on my name. ;P
Still, I think it’s a better fit than the previous name, and the site is still new enough that I can kick stuff from one corner to another without doing too much damage. I have a lot of Western stories in my portfolio, so it kind of makes sense to have the theme match them, even though I have other kinds of stories on the site.
Aaaaaanyway, here’s today’s update!
