Where do I go, from here? (O.o)
First thing we need to figure out is what sort of story you want to read. I have stories in the science fiction, fantasy, western and supernatural genres.
Science Fiction
My science fiction novels take place in my ShadowFall universe, which coincides with my webcomic series of the same name. The comic's story happens about twenty years prior to the stories on this site (with the exception of The Little Dragon, which is a childhood story for series star, Genjiro Nakadai), so you may want to check out the comic, first, and see if you like the worlds and characters. I have a lot of secondary information on it, on the Kyoki Press site, covering character bios, world descriptions, alien descriptions, etc.
That said, if you want to read these stories, here's the order you need to read them in:
The Faraian Conspiracy (novel)
A Covenant of Shadows (novel)
The short stories listed on the ShadowFall Series page and the Science Fiction stories page can be read in any order, as they are not dependent upon one another to make sense.
Fantasy
I haven't got any of the fantasy novels on the site, yet. Most of them need polishing before they're ready for serialization. The short stories currently available on the Fantasy category page are all independent stories and can be read in any order.
Western
For the Desperado Western series, I have listed the respective dates for each story on the Desperado Series page, but I'll list the stories in chronological order, here, for your convenience. All these stories (with the exception of "Justice Rides In Leather") feature teenage outlaw Joshua Love, and as they are written from the outlaws' perspective, they're not much like most traditional westerns. Some characters also swear a lot, but they do not even come close to the level of swearing found in the Deadwood series. If "God damn" is too much for you in a Western, don't read these stories. Likewise, if you expect stronger words than that, don't bother lookin' for 'em, because you ain't gonna find 'em here (other than maybe once or twice, from the mouth of a really bad hombre). ;P
"Justice Rides In Leather" is more along the lines of what you're probably used to seeing in a Western. Although it has noir elements, just like Joshua's stories do, it centers around young lawman Garrett Gunn. He's about 7 years older than Josh, and this story takes place in 1865, four years before "Rustler's Roundup." This one doesn't need to be read first, but it should be read before "Rubbin' Eyeballs With a Gunn," as that story is the first meeting between Josh and Garrett in 1873.
Many of these stories have links in them to MP3s of the songs that are sung in a particular scene. They're all written and performed by me. If you just want to hear the tunes, you can find all of those right here: Kai's Jukebox, along with a convenient player, if you'd like to use it.
Rustler's Roundup (novel, takes place in 1869-1870)
Desperado Dawn (novel, takes place in 1870)
The Ballad of the Beam (short story, takes place in late 1870)
Judas Hearts (short story, takes place in early 1873)
Justice Rides In Leather (novel, takes place in 1865)
Rubbin' Eyeballs With a Gunn (short story, takes place in late 1873)
Supernatural
This category is very sparse, as I've not finished readying my supernatural stories. There's only one in the category, now, and it's a true-life ghost sighting story from my childhood.

Remember to check the blog on the home page or the listings on the Recent Stories page for the latest updates! The recent stories page has an RSS feed, for those who are interested in that. And, as always, if you need any help with figuring out my way of organizing things or have questions about anything in the stories or on the site, just Ask! I don't bite. Well, not much, anyway, and usually only if the person smells of chocolate. ;P
